Lidia Rouse

Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, MA, BACP and BPC registered, TSP member

If life has become a struggle, for whatever reason, therapy can help you. I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist trained at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, the internationally renowned centre of excellence.

I work with adults and late adolescents in English and Spanish.

Honest and creative environment

My role is to facilitate a unique space where a special type of talking and listening takes place. This honest and creative environment allows for the person to express difficult feelings and important struggles, and to explore unknown aspects of their personalities. With a better understanding of themselves, a happier and more fulfilled life becomes possible.

Giving you a new lease of life

Through psychoanalytic psychotherapy we can get access to the unconscious reasons why we act or behave in a particular way, and why we keep repeating this behaviour. By becoming aware of these reasons, we gain a better understanding of why we are the way we are and why we do the things we do. Through revealing our inner conflicts, needs and wishes, the analytic approach can help relieve our suffering and give us a new lease of life.
